So here it is, finally! The sound is better than the CD version, but it's still far from perfect. I recommend anyone who already has the CD version to grab this one as is sound so much better.

Some info on the ripping made by 3ronk7

Ripped with a Technics SL-QD33 turntable via a BBE preamp to a USB Sound Blaster Live! 24 Bit sound card and recorded with SoundForge. Each side was normalized to -.10db and then tracks were separated. All declicking was performed manually.

I know this album is old and that the remastered version is also old, but this is one of the few remastered albums I have listened that is worth to have. If you have ever listened to the original version of Songs of Leonard Cohen you will notice the better quality and clearer sound of this release. The instruments are better defined, the voice is crispier (is that even correct) and the mixing is better balanced. This is one of my favorite album of all time and I want fans to enjoy this excellent remaster. And talking about mastering, I'm waiting for the new Kanye West album on vinyl, is due to the 28 of this month, this version better have a decent volume. I'll be posting the vinyl version nonetheless

Using the full might of the brass section at their disposal, JazzSteppa make a charged up dubstep sound, wobbling atop swollen bass and hard snapping halfstep percussion that will put any soundsystem through it's paces, so there's no worry of them sounding like a flimsy live outfit. The Dub version mercifully dumps the vocals and steers the track in the direction of the DJ's with a nastier finish on the bass. Big with N-Types, Rich Reason, Joe Nice and Ruckspin.
